I. The Device of Delay

- The enemy wants to slow you down and postpone your God given promises

- The enemy will use procrastination to keep you in a state of delay

- The purpose of delay is to instill doubt, wear the person down and frustrate the person so that the person begins to question God

- Delay can occur in various forms; sometimes delay can come as a result of unanswered prayers, unmet expectations and waiting periods

- The enemy uses delay to weaken us, hoping that we will give up or settle for less (Genesis 16:1-2)

- All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord ... (Romans 8:28 )

- When you're in your period of waiting, your perspective is what will help you during your waiting

- Persist with prayer during the time of delay and look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith
