II. The Device of Detain

- Detaining is a strategy the enemy uses to keep people bound in a situation to prevent the person from advancing forward

-This sometimes manifest in repeated cycles of sin, spiritual oppression, physical and emotional bondage

- The purpose of detaining is to paralyze the progress of the person, to keep the person stagnant and unable to move forward to fulfill what God has for them

- Examine yourself to see what is holding you captive

- Daniel prayed and God sent an angel (Daniel 10:13)

- Daniel continued to pray until he received the answer

- The angel that is supposed to come and bless you will not be detained

- The man or woman that God has assigned to bless you, will not be detained

- The enemy uses the device of detain to keep people under subjection (Exodus 1:13-14)
