Types of Grace

1. Saving Grace:

- The Grace of God that we don't deserve

- You cannot do anything to merit this Grace

- Ephesians 2:8-9 


2. Justifying Grace:

- The assurance of forgiveness that comes from repentance from turning towards God's gracious gift of new life

- Being reconciled and realigned with God and accepting the atoning sacrifice that God made on our behalf

- Romans 3:24; Romans 5:1-2 


3. Sanctifying Grace:

- Continually forms us in the likeness of Christ and the love of God

- God's power and ability to purify us and help us to live a holy life

-Titus 2:11-12 NKJV. 


4. Strengthening Grace: 

- God's power, strength and ability to inspire us to live victoriously

- To use authority and have domination over the principalities of this world

- Empowers us to reign over our challenges and our circumstances in this world

- Gives us the unfailing strength of God to grow strong and powerful as a child of God

- Gives the ability to think, give and become and do all things that God wants us to do


5. Sharing Grace:

- God's Grace that give us power and the ability to meet our needs

- Power and ability to take joy in giving generously to others

- 2 Corinthians 9:8  


6. Service Grace:

- God's Grace that empowers us to serve

- Give us Grace gifts; talents, calling, passions

- God has gifted each of us in a special way so we can serve him in a powerful and fruitful manner

- 1 Peter 4:10
