The Purpose of our Gifts

Serving One Another

- The gift is for us to serve one another

- The gift is for others

- Are you serving others with your gift

- What gift that you have that you think is so big that you cannot serve with it

- The gift is to edify one another

Being Good Stewards

- Everyone of us will account to every gift that God has given

- Be good steward of that gift

- How are you managing the gift that God gave you

- We must manage them wisely and faithfully

Building Up the Body of Christ

- Every gift is to build up the body of Christ

- Are you using your gifts to bring them down or build them up?

- Ephesians 4:11-12, 

Glorifying God

- let your light shine before men so that they can see and glorify God (Matthew 5:16)

- Is your life glorifying God or yourself?

Advancing the Gospel

- Our gifts should help spread the good news

- Show kindness through spreading good news

- Are you spreading good news or bad news?

Demonstrating God’s Love

- God uses people

- You cannot go unless God calls

- If an outsider comes to the church, will they know that we are Jesus' disciples

- Who can feel your love?

- John 13:34-35 

Encouraging Growth and Maturity

- Our gifts can help others grow in their faith and maturity

- People will grow when you operate in your gifts
